The Conservative Underground: Day 1
Yeah, OK, we lost last night and the Obama-philes are reveling in their victory. Meanwhile, in the bunker, the Conservative Underground awakens…
Y’all read my letter last night and as gracious as I had hoped to be, that doesn’t mean that I’m going to shut up and dance liberal. Oh, no, my friends, we’ve been on defense before and one thing that life has taught me: the struggle doesn’t end here.
It will only end when Jesus comes back. But until that time, our duty as Christians is to be subject to the higher powers. Since the US requires citizen participation to work, Christians should work to further the cause of Christ by changing the political tides when we can.
But before we do, let me illuminate three key expectations that you will probably see (at the risk of sounding prophetic) in the coming days:
1. We can expect that the liberals will continue to shut us down. Chuck Schumer, just yesterday, noted a desire to return the so-called Fairness Doctrine to the table, equating talk radio “fairness” to that of pornography, in the interest of equality towards private enterprise.
Listen up Chuck, if you are so darned concerned about fairness, then let’s talk about how UN-fair the tax rates are to the affluent. Why is it fair for a person making $250k/year to pay 40% of that in taxes while someone who makes $45k/year to pay 23%?
You’re not interested in fairness. You’re only interested in making things “fair” to suit your own liberal purposes.
Additionally, while Nancy Pelosi talks about creating a true bi-partisan atmosphere, something that she has no intent on doing, just know that any purported Republican or Democrat who sacrifices the most basic of conservative ideals for a seat at the table because that against which we fight. If the Founding Fathers found ways to compromise without sacrificing their ideals, then we should seek the same goal.
2. We can expect that the homosexual liberals in California to file suit to overturn the will of the people with respect to Prop 8. The measure was put on the ballot to give the people the right to allow or disallow gay marriage. The people said no. Unfortunately, the gays won’t accept that answer.
I find it interesting because democracy works when it gets Obama into office, but the majority is wrong and democracy has to be hijacked by judicial fiat when California, Arkansas, and Florida pass measures against same-sex marriage. In other words, the people spoke that they want Obama AND a same-sex marriage ban in California.
BTW – Speaking of which, where are all the people on the left that clamor on about how the Electoral College is a faulty system? They were out in droves in 2000 and 2004.
3. We can expect to see a direct attack on life. Obama has already mentioned he’s wanting to push the Freedom of Choice amendment, which will remove any protections put in place since Roe v. Wade and open the door to more infanticide. And he’s already discussed the issue of bringing embryonic stem cells back to the table, killing more human beings in the interests of science and ignoring all the research and potential for adult stem cells, which do not deprive people of life.
Well, it’s time to turn the lights back on and get to work. My friends, we’re all saddened and sickened by what transpired last night; this is not the result that we wanted to see. But now’s the time we get on defense and do what the government refuses to do: protect life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness – in that exact order.
If we as conservatives are going to rise again, we have to have a message that reverberates with the heart of Americans. I believe we can do this, if we really believe it important enough to do.
Our time will come again. Our message is timeless. Our God is eternal and sovereign. And we will triumph at the end of all things, regardless of what the forces of Satan may push our way.
It’s not over, my friends. It begins anew….right now.

The Rabid Conservative’s Letter to his new President
The Rabid Conservative’s Letter to his new President
As difficult as this letter is to write by one who is as adamantly against everything you and your party stands for, I wish you the greatest congratulations on your becoming the next President of the United States.
Tonight, I will take note that this is a hallmark achievement for civil rights. It proved that anyone, no matter their station is able to rise to the highest level if they have the desire and support to do it. But what I say, Mr. Obama, is that, first, this race thing has to stop, on the white side as well as on the black side. Your former pastor, Jeremiah Wright as well as people like Louis Farrakan now must cease their anti-white rhetoric and start understanding that we are not black or white – we are the human race and we are Americans. I will say it again, that we are not black Americans or white Americans, but Americans. You are uniquely positioned to state these things, if you personally have the will to do it. I will pray that you find the will to do that.
I pray that you will look to the Lord God in Heaven for your ultimate direction, rather than those that surround you who do not respect Him. I pray, against what I see and hear from those to whom you are closest, that you will respect life wherever you find it, whether it be growing in a mother’s womb or on a battlefield. I pray against what I see and hear from those to whom you are closest that you will protect the traditional family as God Himself has established and ordained and eschew that which is an abomination. If you truly believe in the same Lord as I, you would do this with every fiber of your being.
As a conservative, Mr. President-Elect, I am fearful tonight, now more than ever. I’m fearful that many of the ideas festering in the Democratic Party will come to fruition and deprive me and my children of the liberties that I presently enjoy. I am fearful that we will be deprived of my hard earned treasure that I use to feed, clothe, and educate my family outside the public school system, a system that has failed our children because of it’s decision to ignore God. I am fearful that you will do nothing to protect those who have opposing views, but instead, through government mandate, require people who dissent to give up their voice in the interest of balance and fairness. I am fearful that your party will do everything in its power to force the education of my children in ways that do not honor the Lord.
I pray that you will not surrender the values of our nation that we have enjoyed throughout our history to appease those who refuse to believe in the real ideals of integrity and service that made this country great. I pray that when you make decisions, you don’t make them because they are popular, but because they are upright and correct, seeded in the will of Almighty God.
Tonight, we conservatives now enter into exile, dismissed with those who have ruined the conservative opportunity – those who have claimed the mantle of conservative position, but have lied to you as well as us. Sure, we’ll help where we can, but I’m deeply afraid that you will not accept the help that we offer unless we, in exchange for a seat at the table, sacrifice the ideals that we hold dear. We will be required to forget the idea of pro-life, strong national defense, fiscal responsibility in order to participate. You talk about healing our land and our people, but to do that, you will have to do something that you have never done in your career – reach out to the other side of your belief. I will pray that you gain the courage to do that.
I will now support you, Mr. Obama to one limitation: that whatever you do will be in accordance to the will of God and the tenets of His Holy Word. You can expect my disobedience if your policies require me to subjugate God’s will for me to fulfill them. If ever placed in a decision to honor God or honor you and the country you lead, I will honor God. Because this I know, Mr. Obama, that while the USA is the greatest nation on earth, it is not greater than God and as the last chapters of the Revelation teach, it will eventually fall under control of anti-christ before being truly liberated by the only King of Perfect Rule, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will crush His enemies with a rod of iron and rule the world with mercy and true hope.
Mr. President-Elect, as you said tonight, you have the opportunity now to make the changes that you have promised to the American people. You have made the promises. We will see that you either keep them or be condemned for breaking them. We may go into exile tonight, but we are watching and listening to everything you and your party does and says. Tonight, the Democratic Party takes ownership and responsibility for it all. I sincerely hope that you can deliver on your promise to fix the problems of this nation. But you also, with that ownership, get to reap the success and bear the responsibility for failure.
Your time has come, but I’m afraid that those of your party are not ready to lead. And, as your Vice-President has said before, the Presidency does not lend itself to on-the-job training. The American people have spoken, whether intelligently or unintelligently. Take this time now to learn from history, from the mistakes of your predecessors, and purpose in your heart that, by God’s power, you will learn from them.
I will also pray for my own solace and healing. You were not my choice and writing this letter is not at all easy. I am angry and feel betrayed. I feel like the America that I love will be replaced with an America that I do not recognize, filled with unholiness and immorality, ravaged by socialistic ideas, and capitulative to those who would do us harm. Your ideas may work and I pray they have the effects you are promising. I am not confident in that. It’s up to you to restore that confidence for me now – if you can.
May God bless and keep you and your family. And my God bless America.
Respectfully Submitted,
Rick A. Butler

Voter Intimidation Video: Black Panthers in North Philly
Folks, if this doesn’t convince you that racism isn’t a key component of the Barack Obama election machine, then I have some wonderful beachfront property in Arizona to sell to you.
This video, taken today, shows two militant-dressed Black Panthers outside a polling place (a senior citizen home) in North Philadelphia, one brandishing a nightstick.
Thankfully, Philly PD popped in pretty quick and had a little chat with our “Security Guards”
The nuts have turned up, but don’t be intimidated if you still have to vote and your polling place is in a less than desirable location. Vote Right, folks.

One more night – and then we decide
Well folks, tomorrow is judgment day. Tomorrow is the day when we find out the effectiveness of all the stupid attack ads, all the debating, all the rhetoric, the sum of all those things – we find out whether we elect a S
One thing funny I do have to share:
I got an IM from a person…in Ghana…who pleaded with me to vote for Obama. She caught me on the wrong day; I was cranky, annoyed, and having a good case of the Mondays. Well, her ranting on about Obama earned her a first-class verbal shotgun blast.
Of course, that’s not the worst of it. She had the audacity to say that John McCain and the GOP had a concerted effort to assassinate Barack Obama because he would be the first black president (half-black, but who’s counting…) She cited the skin-heads that were caught by the ATF over their alleged plot to kill Obama, and attempted to link it to the entire GOP. And then she had the audacity to tell me her positions were not based on race. Yeah, pull the other one.
Folks, I’m a pretty patient guy. Fo r those that know me, I’m a snuggly fuzzball, but when this foreigner comes in, making a statement like, “at the end of this week, the White House will be painted black”, I just lost it. She caught a few more rhetorical shotgun blasts before being banished to iggy-land.
But what gets me is that much of this race will be based on feel-good-ism and race, rather than a well observed and researched look at the issues. I’m not going to list them here, since you all should be read up by now. But I think many people need to understand what is the fundamental flaws of Marxist Socialism.
Someone has YET to articulate a valid reason why Obama is fit to be president and more qualified than John McCain. And just what they harry does Obama think he’s going to change.
Not every change is a good change. Obama, in my opinion is going to mess things up even further. We only need to see the do-nothing Congress from 2006 to 2008 to see the kinds of change that is coming.
So what if O-bomination wins? Well, we’ll have to leave it in God’s hands, since the GOP will be far to emasculated to do anything about it for the next few years. We can only hope that God will help us protect marriage and the family, as well as the millions of babies on their way to abortion clinics as well as the millions of embryos that will be offered up as lab rats if O-bomination opens the Embryonic Stem-Cell research door.
Or maybe all of us need reminding of what 2 Corinthians 7:14 says…
To my friends – Vote Right.
Rick
